Time to unwind

Here we are – on the verge of the December break with the end of the infamous 2020 in sight! It’s hard to predict what the holiday scene will look like around the country this year, with little International visitors and cash-strapped domestic travelers.

Another shift came in when the leak of the second matric mathematics and physical science papers resulted in Minister Angie Motshekga announcing the rewrite of these two papers. The last exam was only to be written on 17 December, a mere week before Christmas!  Subsequently this ruling was retracted but still caused the death of many a matric holiday.

On the upside, overseas holidays have been substituted for local travel, causing many South Africans to start exploring their own backyard.  Value for money deals is being offered at establishments across the board to entice the local traveler.  It is my hope that through this process we find a better balance between foreign and local markets, affording South Africans opportunities to also experience the best of SA.

Regardless of how short or long your break – enjoy the beautiful Summer days and evenings, the glorious sun sets and the magnificent outdoors – all options that does not cost a cent!  Reach out to loved ones and tell them they are loved!

If there is one thing we all learned in 2020, is that we are so much stronger and more resilient than what we ever thought we could be!  Let us take a break, a little breather and then build on that strength in 2021!

We will be touch again in the new year with many fresh ideas to boost your 2021.

Enjoy every moment, remember every moment counts!

Best wishes
